Marvin’s family moved to Modesto, CA in 1959 and was raised in one of Modesto’s “most vulnerable” neighborhoods. He and his wife of 43 years, Cheryl, have invested over 40 years of their lives influencing, mentoring and developing young emerging leaders who lead out of their love for their communities.
They have two daughters, Dayna and Danyel. One granddaughter, Charlotte.
Marvin holds a BA Degree from Simpson College and an MA from the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary.
Currently, Marvin is the CEO of City Ministry Network (CMN). CMN exists to advocate for our most vulnerable communities, connecting community and sector leaders to work collaboratively for maximum effect, so that every family can thrive.
